In Memory of Cade Joseph Walmer & Celebration of Colton Barry Walmer

About Colton & Cade:

Colton & Cade Walmer were born April 1, 2011 three months premature to Kashi &

Chris Walmer. During the delivery to the surprise of the doctors both babies cried and

were mostly breathing on their own at 2lbs 2ounces & 2lbs 4ounces. After 3 weeks of

great progress in the NICU, Cade Walmer got an infection called Necrotizing

Enterocolitis that took over his body in a 15hr period. He succumbed to his infection and

About the Barbara May Scholarship

~ From Misty ~

The Barbara May scholarship is in memory of the my
mother. She started her athletic career as a tennis player but
quickly fell in love with the game of volleyball while living in
Southern California. My mom loved the sport for many reasons: it
was challenging, it is where she met a lot of her life long friends,
but most of all she was able to share her passion for the sport with
the younger generation. She coached at many different levels and
continued to coach and play even while battling cancer. Before her
passing, my mom and her team captured the gold medal at the
Senior Olympics in St. George, UT. In her honor this scholarship has
been set up to allow a young player of tomorrow a chance at
accomplishing their dream.
